SUMMARY:Coach Development presentation for Level 1\, 2\, Session and Development coaches - Evening 3
DESCRIPTION:Over the past few years Archery GB have changed the format for their coaching grades and in our opinion have left out certain aspects of coaching\, which within Martlets\, we feel should be included. \nTherefore\, we are holding a series of Coach Development presentations aimed at the newly qualified Level 1 & 2\, Session and Development coaches at the South Heighton Village Hall\, The Hollow\, Newhaven BN9 0HL\, the indoor courses will be held in the evening between 7pm and 10pm. \nProgramme: \n\nBasic compound bow set-up\nArrow selection\nQ & A and general discussion\n\nThe nominal cost to cover the hall & equipment hire will be £ 5.00 per person per session and the coaches will receive CPD points for attending. Payment will be taken on the day (cash or cheque) but in the first instance please advise me by e-mail on ado@martletsguildsussex.org.uk\, which sessions (preferably all of them) that you will be attending so we can arrange teas and biscuits. \nThis is a new initiative\, the courses will be interactive and are designed to impart years of knowledge to new coaches just starting their coaching careers. If these sessions are successful it is our intention to also offer more advanced courses to include bow tuning\, archer training programs\, nutrition etc; so your support would be appreciated.
